A chaparral is one of the many biomes of the world. Its is also described as scrubland, and is full of dry grasses, little rain, and hot temperatures.

Animals that have adapted to dry areas with little rain and high competion live in teh chaparrals. These include, but are not limited to: foxes, scorpions, snakes, hares and some species of frogs and many different kinds of insects.
